Silicone Fabric Hoses
Silicone fabric hoses are a combination of a standard silicone hose with a textile braid that is fixed by a silicone coating. This composite creates a pressure-resistant silicone hose.Silicone manufactures fabric hoses with inner diameters from 2 mm to 50 mm and outer diameters from 6 mm to 65 mm
The inner hose and the outer silicone layer can be produced with any silicone rubber.As with the standard silicone hoses, tissue hoses can also be produced such as Peroxide tissue hoses and Platinum-crosslinked fabric hoses
FEATURE AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Water hose, maximum operating pressure below 10 bar: 1.5 to 3
- Hose for other liquids, dissolved for solids in liquids or air and water hose with an operating pressure above 10 bar: 2.0 to 4.0
- Compressed air hose and hose for other gases: 2.0 to 4.0
- Hose for liquid media, which, when pressure is reduced, i.e. when drained into the atmosphere, enters a gaseous state: 2.5 to 5
- Steam hose: 5 to 10
- Temperature: -100°C to +300°C
- Further tear resistance: 16 kN/m to 45 kN/m
- Elongation: 200% to 1,000%
